This -so- kicks ass. Just click on one of the colors from the colorsafe palette provided, and the background changes to that color, allowing you to see how a bg will look -- and giving you the color code for that bg color.

Color Mix
Dithering is something web artists have had to deal with for some time now. Certain colors just aren't "safe" for web browsers under a certain resolution, and some people just can't run at millions of colors to make our pages look good.

So -- in comes ColorMix. Pick a color, any color, and if it's not on the web-safe palette, this site will create FOR you a .gif that will "dither" two colors to make a "better" one so you can save it, use it as a BG on a page, and have the color you want without going slightly insane.

Okay, so the star mousetrails on the first page are pretty annoying. But the rest of the site is -fantastic-. This is a gifted, sharing artist who routinely makes digital collage that will knock your socks off, has an extensive website, and gives some of her art AWAY every week in the form of web page graphic sets.

Simply amazing.

Font Index
Just about every font you'd ever have need for, in both mac and pc formats. The navigation is strange -- you have to go all the way to the bottom to get to the other letter pages; I just picked "B" because that happened to be what I bookmarked.

Despite the poor navigation and lack of an index page, it's too good of a resource to miss.
