So, You Want To Start A Zine?
The gateway to two similar articles: "So, you want to start a zine?", about the perils of print publishing and the cliche of zinesterhood, and his twin, "So, you want to start an e-zine?", about the perils of online publishing and the cliche of ezinesterhood. Sounds to me like someone's afraid of some competition...
Actually, they're both really good articles, and should probably be required reading.

Hotwired article: Rubber Soul
An explanatory, introductory article to the joy of Eraser Carving -- as well as a pimp for ECQ (Eraser Carver's Quarterly), one of the oldest zines like it out there. There are other zines listed -- go see.

Zine Classifieds
Not only the expected promotion, but also listings for writers seeking zines and vice versa. A great place to go if you need just ONE MORE ARTICLE to make your layout, or if you have a burning desire to write and don't have a zine to put it in.

SurfStart: Zines and E*Zines
A private (?) links list about....well...zines and e*zines. Loads of DIY info, and lots of links to other zines with a web presence. Some links defunct -- but what list -doesn't- have out of daters here and there....?

diy links
A links page that I'd be lost without. Fantastic diy links for both creating your own stuff and for seeing what other people are making (with, of course, the intent to buy some of it.).

SheMadeThis
Run by two girls in Oregon, this is soon to be a clearinghouse for both web space and DIY stuff. Can't wait to see what's next.
